Objectives of the project             

• Create Awareness
• Change Behaviour & encourage community pet ownership
• Educate people on managing stray population
• Educate on canine related diseases
• Make community safe from aggressive stray dogs

Target groups/ final beneficiaries           

• Communities and schools in target Dzongkhags, rescued animals & public at large
• Paro, Samtse Dagana, Thimphu

Estimated results           

• Minimize risk of canine related diseases
• Awareness on importance of anti rabies vaccination
• Community ownership of stray dogs
• Inculcated sense of moral responsibility for proper care and humane treatment of animals
• Created safe environment for communities

• Repair & maintenance of shelter house for aggressive dogs
