Objectives of the project             

  • Strengthen and enhance the BTO volunteer network by building teams and their capacities
  • Harmonize, design, and develop uniform activities for the BTO network focusing on women and people living with disability
  • Develop monitoring and reporting systems

Target groups/ final beneficiaries       20 dzongkhags and 8 colleges

Estimated results           

  • Established strong BTO Network and enhanced their capacity to plan, implement, report and monitor sanitation activities
  • Monitoring and reporting systems developed with adequate and appropriate tools
  • Adequate and affordable toilet facilities made available at public places during events and for socially marginalized population with special focus on women and people living with disability Increased awareness on safe sanitation and good hygiene practice

  • Team building exercise among BTO Ambassadors and local government and other stakeholders
