Total Cost of the project (in Nu/): Nu 1,035,340.00

Objectives of the project:

1. Sustainable harvesting and marketing of cane and bamboo products
2. Youth and women empowerment on sustainable resource management
3. Skill development of NWFP members
4. Good governance of group.

Target groups/ final beneficiaries: 53 members

Estimated results:

1. Empowerment on sustainable resource management and marketing of NWFP products for rural livelihood enhancement
2. Strengthening the governance of NWFP group

Main activities:

1. Intensive training course on cane and bamboo products development
2. Procurement of basic equipment for group members
3. Bamboo furniture training
4. Exposure visits (focus to women members)
