Objectives of the project

Since a creative society is essential to ensuring progressive lives, the goal of this project is to reach the unreached with the following objectives:

• Broaden access to art educations
• Improve opportunities of art as a vocation
• Encourage expression through art
• Enhance the use of art as a therapy
• Enhance the reach and appreciation of contemporary art in Bhutan

Target groups/ final beneficiaries

• 100 under privileged youth for art classes
• 50 under privileged youth through art camps

Estimated results

• 100 students certified in Contemporary Art
• Two national art exhibition “Expressions of young hearts: exchange between the urban and rural youths “conducted in Thimphu
• 2 youth art exchange camps conducted
• 2 art clubs established in the rural areas of Bhutan.
• A documentary film produced on Contemporary Art in Bhutan.
