Bhutan Kidney Foundation (BKF), seeks to establish a circle of networks to disseminate the information of prevention and control of kidney related diseases in the four Dzongkhags of Monggar, Pemagatshel, Sarpang and Samtse, covering more than 16 Gewogs and 26 schools. The networks include Dzongkhag & Gewog Health workers, schools, community & youth groups, and BKF members and volunteers. These will be provided with basic health equipment to determine blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

A short-animated film will be produced and broadcasted to improve the knowledge of the public on the disease and importance of early detection and prevention measures. Various educational print materials in the form of standees, posters, brochures and booklets will also be produced and disseminated.
